Barker has a proud Agriculture, Forestry and Farming background with beautiful vineyards in  the Barossa Valley, Riverland and Coonawarra, fantastic forests through the South East and graziers across the plains.

Given the beautiful food and wine it is no surprise that tourism plays an important role in our electorate as well – Barker provides a unique opportunity to feel the true essence of being a South Australian.

I am proud to be the advocate for an electorate full of some of the toughest, kindest and most thoughtful people in our country. I have spoken to many residents around Barker in my time as a Senator for South Australia and the unifying theme is the hard work and dedication every single person plays in their community. When you are built country tough – community means everything.
