Anniversary & Birthday Congratulations
Australians can receive personal congratulations from the Prime Minister, Governor-General or The Queen for a Special Birthday or Wedding Anniversary. Congratulatory messages can be arranged to arrive two months prior to the date of celebration and requests for belated messages made within one month from the special date.
HOW TO APPLY
If you reside in South Australia and require a congratulatory letter to be organised, please contact Senator Don Farrell’s office directly. Requests can also be made by a relative or friend on your behalf and can either be sent directly to the recipient or person organising if it is a surprise. Please be aware that applications require supporting documentation such as a birth certificate or marriage certificate. If you are unable to provide this documentation, a statutory declaration obtained from the post office is sufficient.
Schools, not-for-profit organisations, charities, other benevolent societies, residents on the electoral role and veterans can request a flag for display.
